How does a PROVE IT Sticker turn off an alarm?
When you set up a new alert, you pair the alert with a PROVE IT Sticker. Each Sticker has a unique ID, so when the alert starts firing, your PROVE IT app will recognize the paired Sticker and stop the sound / vibration.
Do PROVE IT Stickers need charging?
No. Your phone powers the PROVE IT Sticker for the split second you tap. It never needs charging, and there’s no battery to die.
What if I tap the wrong PROVE IT Sticker?
The alarm keeps going. Each PROVE IT Sticker is one of a kind, so your meds PROVE IT Sticker won’t stop the wake-up alarm.
What if I really can’t get to my PROVE IT Sticker?
You get 3 free bail outs for real emergencies. No charge, no judgment. Apparently, you’re human.

Which phones work with PROVE IT Stickers?
A recent iPhone with the free PROVE IT app. To tap, hold the top edge of your phone against the sticker for a second.
Can I use other NFC tags or stickers with the app?
No. PROVE IT works only with PROVE IT Stickers. Each one carries a unique signature the app recognizes, which is exactly what makes the alarm unbeatable.
How do I stick one on, and can I move it later?
Pick a clean, dry, flat spot. Hold the sticker there and tap it with your phone before you peel, because metal can interfere with the scan. Happy? Peel and press. The 3M adhesive is meant to stay put, and re-sticking weakens it, so treat placement as permanent.
How many stickers do I need?
One per alert. A case has 20, which is enough to run a full routine and still lose a couple and be A-OK.
Does the app track my location?
Only if you turn on “Only trigger when I’m at a location” for an alert. Then the app checks whether you’re within about 100 meters of the spot you saved and skips the alert when you’re somewhere else, so no “wash dishes” alarms at the movies. Details in our privacy policy.
Is there a subscription?
No subscription needed for the PROVE IT app or stickers. Buy the stickers once, the app is free.
Does the alert fire if the app is closed?
Yes. Alerts fire even when the app is closed. They keep re-arming until you tap the paired sticker or use a bail out.
